I recently visited the VIP Lounge at Los Cabos Terminal 2, primarily using my Priority Pass for access. My experience was a bit of a mixed bag, and here's why:
First off, finding the entrance to the lounge was a bit of a challenge due to ongoing renovations. It's located near the Food Court, right next to Subway and Panda Express. Once inside, I was greeted with a spacious interior and plenty of seating options. However, the overall service flow left something to be desired.
One of the main issues I encountered was with the ordering process. Both food and drinks had to be ordered through the service staff, which seemed reasonable. However, it appeared that there was no clear division of responsibility among the staff members, and they didn't seem to keep track of the order in which customers arrived. After serving one guest, they would move on to the next person, which often resulted in confusion and delays as people had to keep checking with the bar.
As for the food, it was honestly quite mediocre. The selection was limited, and the quality left much to be desired. Given the high standards one might expect from a VIP lounge, I was somewhat disappointed in this regard.
On the bright side, the lounge did offer a comfortable space to relax, and having access to a variety of drinks, including cocktails, was a plus. While the food may have been lacking, the availability of alcohol was a redeeming feature.
While waiting for my flight, I decided to order a Dirty Martini, and I must say it hit the spot. The bartender did an excellent job with this classic cocktail, and it was a great way to pass the time.
